App Users
When you use the AxleAssist mobile app, we may collect:

Account & Login Information: If you sign in with Apple or email, your email address and authentication credentials are managed through Supabase.

App Usage Data: Vehicle and trailer settings, axle weight inputs, IFTA mileage entries, expense and income records, notes, and tasks.

Subscription Status: Managed through RevenueCat to verify your active subscription and premium entitlements.

Support & Feedback: If you contact us, we may collect your email address and any details you voluntarily provide.
We do not collect sensitive identifiers (such as government IDs, driver’s licenses, or payment card details).
Website Visitors
Our website (www.axleassistapp.com) is informational only.

3. Data Storage & Sharing

Local Storage: Most user data (trip details, notes, expenses) is stored locally on your device.

Supabase: Used only for login/account management (email and credentials).

RevenueCat: Used only for subscription verification and entitlement management. We do not have access to your payment card or billing details, which are processed securely by the App Store or Google Play.

Sharing: We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties. Data may only be disclosed if legally required (e.g., court order) or with your explicit consent.

4. Data Security
We implement technical and organizational safeguards to protect your account and locally stored data.
However, no method of storage is completely secure. We recommend using strong account credentials and regularly backing up your device.
5. Your Control & Data Rights
You remain in control of your data:

In-App Account Deletion: You may permanently delete your account at any time from within the app (Settings → Account → Security → Delete Account). This will remove your Supabase login data and associated records (trips, expenses, notes, tasks).

Reset/Delete Local Data: You may clear app data using in-app reset tools or by uninstalling the app.

Subscriptions: You can manage or cancel subscriptions directly through your app store account.
We do not retain your personal data once your account is deleted or the app is uninstalled, aside from billing records maintained by Apple or Google. Certain minimal non-identifiable records may be retained if required by law (e.g., financial transaction logs).
6. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When changes occur, the “Last updated” date will be revised. Continued use of AxleAssist after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
