AxleAssist – Terms of Use

Welcome to AxleAssist — your trucking assistant for axle weight calculations, IFTA mileage estimation, trip expense tracking, and driver utilities. By using our mobile app or website, you agree to the following terms:
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using AxleAssist (the app or website), you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, you may not use AxleAssist.
2. Account Registration, Login & Deletion
To use the AxleAssist mobile app, you must create an account and log in using Apple Sign-In or an email-based login.

Supabase Authentication: We use Supabase to manage account logins and securely store your email address for authentication purposes.

Account Responsibility: You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity under your account.

Termination: We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, misuse the app, or engage in fraudulent activity.

Account Deletion: You may permanently delete your account at any time from within the app (Settings → Account → Security → Delete Account).
3. License to Use
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use AxleAssist for personal and non-commercial purposes only.
This includes access to the following app features:

Axle weight calculators

IFTA mileage and fuel estimation

Income and expense tracking

Notes and task management
-
Flashlight, timer, and stopwatch utilities
You may not:

Copy, distribute, reverse engineer, or modify any part of the app or website

Attempt unauthorized access or misuse the app/website in violation of applicable laws
4. Subscriptions & Payments
AxleAssist offers optional subscription plans (Monthly and Yearly) that unlock premium features such as advanced weight tools, expense tracking, and IFTA mileage reporting.

RevenueCat Integration: Subscription management and entitlement verification are handled securely through RevenueCat, in conjunction with the Apple App Store and Google Play Store.

Payments: We do not collect or store payment details. All transactions are securely processed by your app store provider.

Auto-Renewal: Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the billing period. You may manage or cancel subscriptions through your app store account settings.

Refunds: Payments are non-refundable. No refunds will be issued for unused portions of a billing cycle.
5. Website Access
In addition to the app, we provide a public website at www.axleassistapp.com. By using the website, you agree not to:

Attempt unauthorized access, interfere with functionality, or violate applicable laws

Copy, reuse, or republish website content (text, images, or design) without written permission
6. Disclaimer
AxleAssist is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied.
We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, legality, or compliance of any outputs generated by the app or website, including:

Axle weight calculations and recommendations

IFTA mileage and fuel estimates

Trip expenses, budgets, or income records

Notes, tasks, flashlight, timer, or stopwatch functions
AxleAssist is a driver tool for informational use only and is not a substitute for certified truck scales, DOT-compliant logbooks, legal filings, or licensed professional guidance.
7. Limitations of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, AxleAssist, its creators, and affiliates are not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use or misuse of the app or website.
This includes — but is not limited to — fines, penalties, tax or regulatory consequences, data loss, fuel costs, downtime, or operational impacts.
8. Cookies & Analytics (Website Only)
Our website may use cookies or analytics tools to collect non-personal usage data to improve performance and user experience.
